Interior Design 101: Backsplashes

One of my favorite rooms in a home is the kitchen. When i apeak of the detail i want to put into i always mention having the perfect backsplash; makes the kitchen. Most people have no clue what im talking about. Its basically the area behing the cooking and sink area. Its a completely different look than the walls and it just adds a special touch to your cooking space. There are thousands of backsplashes to choose from, easy to install and not as expensive as you may think. Below are a couple of my favorites to choose from.
